Stem Cell breakthrough
As I was flipping through the pages of Time magazine, I noticed something which as very intriguingly. Supposedly, scientists used a woman's skin cells and forced them to revert back to their previous stages as stem cells. They were then able to coerce the cells into morphing into all the major cells. I found this to be quite exciting, because now scientists will be able to continue forward in stem-cell research without restraints from the current government administration. It's a breakthrough which allows us to bypass the ethical debates which resulted from previous stem cell research. This is a great leap forward for medicine--- who knows what new treatments will be available in the next 10 years? Hopefully things which we'd never previously imagined.
