Since the one below this didn't work...

The writer chooses to peruse obvious themes such as 'stealing wont get you anywhere' or
'if you don't pay attention to your children they will end up criminals'. While this is interesting and all,
the support for the themes leaves me wanting more. I want to an explanation about this boys inner
thoughts, I want a more hefty and thought provoking explanation as to why he is stealing than
'his parents don't like him'. I am left pondering and unaware of Antoine's reasoning; I need more depth.
 This is one of the things that causes the films plot to sink.
