Endings.
As I've been reading through the chapters in Lord of Light, I've noticed something the Gorger Zelanzy's writing is lacking in. The endings to his chapters are pretty terrible. Yes, they tie together the chapter, and yes they usually involve something that is supposedly "thought-provoking". However, not once have I been so enticed at the end of the chapter that I want to continue with the reading. I'm tired of this Hindu philosophy stuff, Zelanzy needs to make a leap into a Sci-Fi world. I'm two thirds of the way through, and it still seems like a fantasy novel. Where's the interesting stuff? Where are the Cliffhangers? WHY IS THIS BOOK GETTING SO BORING!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed it at first, but now I really need something with more meat. I need something the take my mind off the real world, and bring me into a mind dulling universe. In short; I need a television, but instead of flashing images on a screen, I need to be immersed in words.
