In this months WIRED magazine there is an article titled S.O.S. It is about how a team of men, working under the company Titan, saved a 55328 ton ship from capsizing. The Cougar Ace, as the ship was called, was carrying 55542 Mazda automotive vehicles from Japan to the U.S.A. When it went to dump some of the water in it's ballast tanks, it swung onto it's side. The Titans were able to right it again.
This is the generally premises behind the article. What i found to be kind of interesting was the amount of profanity used in the articles. It got me thinking; why is a magazine like wired allowed to use swears, whereas television shows are generally prohibited from using a certain amount of violence and profanity?
